Book Covers

Recently, I have been getting a little burnt out on revising The Cause, so I decided I would work on a couple book covers and let my Facebook friends vote on which was the best.

As you can see, the one on the left is based off the brick wall in the story. The one on this right has significance to the story as well, but it would be too much to explain here. Read the book and you'll understand.

The problem I am having is that the voting is split evenly between the two designs. This either means they are both really great covers or they are both terrible. Either way, they were both a lot of fun to make.

Tell me what you think. Should I go with the bricks, the script or go back to the drawing board?

The Blogging Begins

Blogging has never really appealed to me. I thought blogs were a complete waste of time unless you have something interesting to say. I've seen so many blogs drone on about boring anecdotes that, frankly, no one else cares about. I use to think, "If you have nothing valuable to say, just don't say anything".

At this point you might be thinking, "Wow, this guys is a real hypocrite." If this is indeed your sentiments, you are probably right.

So what exactly is my justification for pulling a one-eighty on blogging? This blog isn't for you. It's for me.

I am working toward becoming a better writer and I am hoping this blog will help me get there.
